Book and Breakfast is an event that kicks off National Reading month and celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday.
Breakfast and a Book is one of our easiest events of the year. Room Reps coordinate a light breakfast snack. When you send out a communication to your classroom parents, you will want to let them know that their child should still have their breakfast in the morning as this is a "light snack."
Please consider easy-to-serve breakfast items, such as mini muffins, mini bagels, mini croissants, juice boxes or small water bottles, fruit pre-bagged in Ziploc bags or paper bags.
Typically last 1 hour and it is usually held after drop-off.
Students can come to school in their pajamas and will either be read books by parent volunteers and/or read to themselves.
